1. What we collect

When you register for the Upwork Bootcamp, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your main skill and, if you provide it, your Upwork profile URL
• Payment details you submit for verification — the method (Bank transfer, D17, Crypto, or La Poste Tunisienne), the amount, and a proof-of-payment screenshot

2. How we use it

Your information is used to review and verify your registration, contact you about the status of your payment, and — once approved — send you the Discord invitation and cohort details. We don't sell your data to anyone.

3. Payment proof

Screenshots you submit as payment proof are stored only to verify your payment and resolve disputes. They're accessible to The New Scale team for verification purposes only.

4. Third-party services

We use third-party providers to run the registration and payment-verification system — for database and file storage, and for sending confirmation emails. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy standards; we don't share more than what's needed for the registration to function.

5. Cookies

The registration flow uses only essential, functional storage in your browser (to remember your registration reference so you can check its status on a return visit). We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

We keep registration and payment records for as long as needed to support the Bootcamp and meet basic record-keeping needs. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, subject to what we need to keep for payment records.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're required to keep for payment and legal records.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Bootcamp evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
